Please Join the EVHS PTSA

Hello Evergreen Valley High School Community,

This email is being sent to encourage all parents, students, and staff  of Evergreen Valley High School to come to our first official PTSA association meeting on Tuesday, January 24th in Cougar Hall at 7pm. There's no better way to know what's happening at the school than to participate in the PTSA; it is also a way for you to  more effectively suggest change at the school.

Dr. Lomas, principal of EVHS has been wanting to form a PTSA at EVHS but did not know where to start. She has been in conversations with several parents for the last two years. Finally, we have made progress. After Dr. Lomas and I met with the local PTSA district and expressed our interest in forming a PTSA at EVHS, we have a clear understanding of what needs to take place. We need to form a nominating committee of 4 people. We need to form a By-Law committee of 4 people. We also need to have at least 3 positions to become a PTSA: President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Although I am willing to be the President, I need a commitment from others to join me.

If you are interested in running for a position on the board, we could also  use a  Vice President, Treasurer, Membership Chair, and Parliamentarian. Please contact me ASAP if you are interested. You can send me an email directly at
cartwr2003@yahoo.com

Thank You,
Rosalie Cartwright
