                                    GOOD MORNING COUGARS!!

 Today is MONDAY, APRIL 16TH, 2012, and WELCOME BACK!

 

·      We sure hope you had a great spring break cougars, because tomorrow marks the start of STAR testing! Be sure to get plenty of sleep, eat breakfast and do your best! Good Luck!!

·      And to all seniors, you must report to the Theatre each day starting tomorrow for the rest of the week NO LATER THAN 9:30. Again, Seniors, please meet each day starting tomorrow in the theatre by 9:30 AM, attendance will be taken. For more information on the senior schedule during STAR testing, check our school’s homepage.

SPORTS:

 

CLUBS:

·      Hey dancers, Future Arts Now Dance classes will be held in the aerobics studio on the second floor of the gym on next Monday, April 23rd. NOT the theater dance studio

·      Attention all current and prospective clubs, please turn in your club charters in by next Monday, April 23rd in the Activities office. This is the only way you will have a club next year, so get your forms in! Also, if your adviser may not be a Senior or Junior Class adviser, and each teacher may only be an adviser for two clubs.

·      Do YOU want to be a Cheerleader!? Cheer Try Outs are next week on April 27th. If you are interested in trying out for the team next year please attend the parent meeting on this Thursday April 19th.Practices are Monday April 23rd and Tuesday April 24th.Packets will be available from the school website under Athletics on the Cheerleading page soon.

·       HEY KCC MEMBERS! THERE IS A MEETING TODAY IN MRS. METICA'S ROOM DURING THE BEGINNING OF LUNCH! BE SURE TO SHOW UP. WE HAVE A LOT OF THE END OF THE YEAR INFORMATION TO SHARE. 

 

CLASSES:

·      Seniorrrrs! Did you buy your prom tickets yet?? Tickets to attend “The Carnivale” THIS Saturday are still $95 for singles and $160 for couples. Make sure to get your tickets in the bank, because there are only 42 pairs of tickets left! Also, if you already paid for your ticket and have not received yet, please pick them up at lunch in the quad or see a class officer for more information!

·       Hey Senior BOYS! Still looking for a tuxedo to rent for Prom? Can't find that certain color for your tie, bowtie, or vest? Stop by Formal Headquarters located in the Sears at Eastridge Mall and across the street from Oakridge mall. Mention that you're from Evergreen Valley, and a portion of the profits will go back to the school. Ask a senior class officer for a card, and you can get a discount from their already low prices! You can literally pick up your stuff on the day of. Don’t miss out on this great deal!

 

 

 

MISC:

·       “Attention all seniors who had Mr. Fanciullo during the fall semester for AP Government, there will be an AP test study session this Thursday, April 19 at 3:15 p.m. in Mr. Fanciullo’s room, 228A. Please bring your AP workbooks. The study session should last around 75 minutes. Thank you and see you there.”

·
